Lindsay Debassige (she/they) Executive Director
Lindsay Debassige is a Two-Spirit M'Chigeeng Anishinabek person born and raised in Sǫ̀mba K'è , Denendeh. Lindsay is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and facilitator for many Northern Initiatives. She is currently pursuing her education to become a Registered Psychologist to bring more gender and sexually diverse Indigenous representation into mental health spaces. Lindsay is passionate about building ethical, anti-racist, decolonial spaces and empowering First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples of Denendeh to reclaim their culture, traditions, language, and identity. #LANDBACK

Kianna Stagg (she/her)
Kianna is a Queer Dënesųłı̨né artist and educator born and raised in Sǫ̀mba K'è , Denendeh. Her work addresses homelessness and housing inequality across the North. Kianna is passionate about strengthening connections to community, culture, language, and the Land. Kianna strives to uplift the voices of youth and to create inclusive, representative spaces for the people of Denendeh that are rooted in care and culture. She enjoys running, sewing, and being on the Land.

Arctic Stubbert (He/him)
Arctic Stubbert is a Inuit Metis descent, Demi sexual Transman , born and raised in Somba K'e, Denedah (yellowknife NT) .He currently works at canarctic graphics printing the newspapers, where he has for the past 10 years. he is passionate about fishing, being on the land and his dog Gunner that comes in tow wherever dogs are permitted. the qmunity camp brings fond memories of Arctic's upbring, where he has been camping since diapers. Arctic is proud to be a part of the Qmunity board and their values to bring opportunities to the communities on the land more accessible for Northern 2SLGBTQIPA+youth.

Meghan Keenainak (she/her)
I’m Meghan Keenainak (she/her), I’m Inuk and I was raised and live in Yellowknife. I’m anaana to 4 children, they are my guiding lights. I am an advocate for social justice and community care. I hope to bring a critical Indigenous perspective to anything I do. I enjoy travelling, astrology, and memes.

Vanessa Oliverio (they/them)
Vanessa is an indigiqueer Dakelh person who was raised and calls Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in territory (Dawson City, Yukon) home. Vanessa enjoys photography, community volunteering and family time. They are currently pursuing an education in social work to create indigenous and northern representation based on the vision of indigenization, decolonization and empowerment of community. Vanessa is passionate about making land based settings accessible for youth to engage in connection, culture and community.

Rachel Cluderay (they/she)
Rachel (they/she) was born and raised in Sǫ̀mba K’è/Yellowknife, Denendeh where they still live today. They are a nêhiyaw-English paddler, dog parent, and bush nerd. In 2019, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Entrepreneurship at the University of Victoria. Rachel is a Dechinta alumni where they received a certificate in Community Land-Based Research. Currently, Rachel is working on a Masters of Indigenous Land-Based Education at the University of Saskatchewan where their work focuses on the resurgence of Tłı̨chǫ canoe practices. They are the co-founder and Project Director of Supporting Wellbeing, a non-profit that provides tools and resources to respond to mental health challenges on the land. Rachel has been delivering land-based programs across the North since 2013. They are passionate about supporting Indigenous peoples to strengthen their connection to the land as she believes it is foundational for the resurgence of Indigenous cultures, languages, and ways of being.
